COVID 19 has made it even more imperative that we install new PlayPumps and maintain our existing 900+ PlayPumps.
Just before lockdown we maintained 8 PlayPumps in Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga, so the learners have water to drink, and most importantly water to wash hands when schools re-open.
During May and June we visited another 21 schools and communities and maintained their PlayPumps and are just about to go to KwaZulu Natal.
We also installed in new PlayPumps during this time. D L Jansen Primary School were thrilled with their PlayPump. The Deputy Principal Mr Titus said the PlayPump had come just at the right time, to provide the school with water for drinking and importantly washing hands. See his letter in full under “letters”
We can only continue to provide schools and communities with water with the help of donations. Please consider helping us with a donation, however large or small, it will all help.
